Vacuum Filling Systems

Our Vayu Vacuum Oiling System are designed to fill surface-reaching cracks in gemstones with natural and synthetic oils, waxes and resins. Operation is in accordance with accepted scientific principles by the following process:

1. Stones and filling liquids are heated to the same temperature in separate chambers.
2. Heated stones are vacuum dried to remove all air and moisture from cracks.
3. Stones are immersed in filling liquids-oils or resins.
4. Filling liquids, heated to reduce viscosity and improve capillary action, penetrate free dried cracks for perfect filling. Because you can treat large lots of stones in only a few hours, our Vacuum Oiling Systems make it feasible to oil stones periodically.

Vayu Emerald Oiling Machine System [For rough and cut gemstones]

The system comprises an oiling machine with two chamber, the liquid chamber and the separate stone processing chamber. A built-in thermometer monitor a themostated hot plate which heats both chambers to the same temperature. The electrical vacuum pump removes all air and moisture from cracks in the stones. Rough gemstone materials can be simply placed inside the stone basket. Lots of finished cut stones can be placed separately in the stainless steel container.

Operation is extremely simple

• Place the container with the stones in the stone processing chamber
• Place the liquid, oil or resin, in the liquid chamber.
• Tum on the hot plate and the pump for one hour.
• Close the vacuum valve and turn the main valve that is located on the front of the machine.
• The liquid will flow into the container in the stone chamber and start to fill the cracks in the stones

The whole process takes about five hours for perfect filling of the cracks The size of the stones basket is: Diameter 82mm X 98mm Height. The required area for the machine is 50 cm X 30 cm.
