Praan is not a complete faceting machine; it is a Universal Machine Base designed to accommodate different types of Index Heads and Masts according to the user’s requirements. It can be used with Kavi, SOM (Jamb Peg), as well as other compatible faceting Index Head and Mast systems, making it a highly versatile platform for different faceting setups.

With a height of approximately 55 mm (without leveling pads), Praan has a low-profile design that is lower than many conventional faceting machines. This allows the user to work in a more comfortable position and provides better accessibility during faceting.

The base is equipped with a high-performance 2500 RPM BLDC motor with variable speed control, providing smooth, quiet, and stable operation for cutting and polishing a wide range of gemstones.

Praan features a rigid and robust construction designed to minimize vibration during operation. It is manufactured using high-quality steel and aluminium, providing an excellent combination of strength, durability, and precision. With an approximate weight of 14 kg, the base provides a solid and stable platform for precision faceting.

The machine can be easily switched between 220V and 110V power supply with a switch, making it convenient for use in different countries and electrical systems.

All electronic components are neatly integrated underneath the machine base, keeping the working area clean, open, and uncluttered while maintaining a compact overall design.
